MIC MECHANIC 2

Battery-powered vocal effects stompbox with echo, reverb, pitch correction and automatic microphone gain

Where to buy MIC MECHANIC 2 (0726-AAE)

Plug in, sing, and let the pedal handle the gain.

An open mic gives you one song and a mixer someone else runs. MIC MECHANIC 2 sits between your microphone and that mixer. It adjusts the gain for your microphone automatically, so a good signal reaches the mixer without unwanted distortion.

Echo that follows the song

Choose tape, digital or slap echo with the ECHO knob, which also sets how loud the echoes are. Hold the footswitch for about 2 seconds to enter Tap Mode. Tap in the tempo, and the on/off LED flashes in rhythm with it.

From a small room to a hall

The reverb types run from the smallest space, Room, to the largest, Hall. At its 12:00 position, the CORRECTION knob gives subtle pitch support without noticeable artefacts. The TONE button adds adaptive EQ, de-essing and a noise gate.

Wherever you find a stage

Four AA batteries can run it, or connect an optional 9 V power supply (not included). Phantom power at 24 V is always on, so condenser microphones work too. MIC and OUT both take balanced XLR cables.
